ZHG Siege Friendly Damage

white zhg symbol ZHG Siege Friendly Damage

I've been playing in ZHG siege server for some time now and I just don't understand where's the logic in the current friendly damage settings. If I hit someone by accident/intentionally I lose health and the person I hit doesn't. If you don't want people to be able to TK why just not turn off friendly damage because now it's very annoying.

I understand that it annoys some people but i personally like that setting as it encourages people not to randomly spam in combat and i hope it helps attract better players to the servers.

If you accidently or intentionally hit a teammate, you were doing something wrong and you should receive a penalty. Reflective damage provides that penalty.

Turning off friendly fire as a whole will, as Gragnok said, encourage spam. This means; a handful of Nords spamming long axes, making you defenceless prey rather than a player. I have seen the results of such a setting in the past on TWs official servers and it was just bad. I would never ever want such setting again.

Aye it doesnt create any sort of penalty for bad teamplay and swordsmanship which leads to bad gameplay and those with the largest longest and highest damage weapons winning more.

Perhaps i will speak to Lisen about ZHG TDM. ZHG siege server however is totally up to Vermin.
